The Bend is hosted by Eli Lewy, an Israeli translator, filmmaker, editor, and one of the founders of the Berlin-based Final Girls Film Festival, a platform for women and non-binary filmmakers, producers, and writers of horror films.

Born in Stockholm, raised all over, and now residing in Berlin, Eli’s interest in what sparks transitions, transformations, and transubstantiations birthed the concept of The Bend, a podcast about the decisions people make and why they make them, telling stories that connect people across industries and stages of life.

Her favorite film is The Breakfast Club.
